The CompTIA Security+ course provides an excellent introduction to the security field and a perfect solution for those whose goal is to become Security+ certified for their job, to prove basic knowledge of security concepts or to gain more knowledge to secure their networks. In this course, students will implement, monitor, and troubleshoot infrastructure, application, information, and operational security. This training will prepare students to pass the current CompTIA Security+ SY0-601 certification exam. This course is targeted toward the information technology (IT) professional who has networking and administrative skills in Windows®-based Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) networks; familiarity with other operating systems, such as macOS®, Unix, or Linux; and who wants to further a career in IT by acquiring foundational knowledge of security topics; preparing for the CompTIA Security+ certification examination; or using Security+ as the foundation for advanced security certifications or career roles.
