Learn how to connect the world of project management and business analysis in practice. The result is better terms of reference, fewer misunderstandings and a higher chance of successful project delivery.

The course shows how to use the principles of business analysis in project management. You will learn to work better with requirements, stakeholders, changes and expectations of the client. You will gain a practical framework for cooperation between the project manager, business analyst and delivery team, thanks to which you will manage projects more accurately and with less risk of misunderstanding.

  • Introduction to business analysis, the role of the business analyst and the IIBA® / BABOK® standard
  • Strategic analysis and business analysis planning
  • Requirements gathering and collaboration with stakeholders
  • Requirements analysis and solution design
  • Requirements life cycle management and solution evaluation
  • Summary, recommendations for practice and space for questions

Prerequisites

  • Basic orientation in project management
  • Experience with participation in a project as a Project Manager, coordinator, team lead or project team member
  • Basic awareness of requirements, change management and working with stakeholders is an advantage
  • No prior knowledge of the BABOK® methodology or previous experience as a business analyst is required
